While in Florida, visiting my sister, we decided to go out to take pictures. We drove to Sweetwater Wetlands Park in Gainesville, and we were not disappointed!! The water fowl were amazing, and somewhat expected. The Pileated Woodpeckers were AWESOME! I'd been trying to track them back in my yard back in MA, because I've heard them and have seen them fly overhead! It hasn't happened yet. So, when I saw at least a half dozen flying and landing, I was super excited!! This guy was huge!! It made my day!
