Cheers Glenda. I took a few yesterday. A few yards towards the park six of them landed and walked amongst us. I took photos but didn't have time to change to wide angle lens and I could only focus on one at a time.

Ah the heron in pole position and seagulls spectators lined up watching from their vantage points, great!

I tell you what... it was a crying shame I had the zoom lens, 70-200mm, on the camera and not a wider angle one to get both heron and gulls in focus. It is impossible to do that at 100mm focal length and the heron only a couple for yards awat from you. I didn't want to change lenses just in case the heron darted, LOL!
