As we sat waiting patiently in the brush, we could hear the powerful call of a male lion to its brother. Before we knew it, this majestic creature crawled out from the high grass, walking just 10 feet away from us. He stopped briefly, just long enough to snap this picture, before carrying on to find his pride.
This particular picture was hard to capture, as it was taken just as the sun set in the shade, and speedy manual focus was needed as this lion walked through the different layers of grass.
