Scorpio maurus under ultraviolet beam which teases out its exoskeleton in vibrant blue-green. Under the beam, you could notice scorpions torch against the darkness. Several theories developed in order to address why scorpions' exoskeletons glow under UV light. One theory holds that two chemicals responsible for the glow could be by-products of normal chemical reactions.
