Flowery Explosions

This is a shot I took at the annual fireworks festival in Bay City, Michigan. For a population of only 34,000, we have one of the biggest fireworks displays in the state and up there as far as the country is concerned. It's an amazing event and it draws people from as far away as Texas. This was actually from one of the smaller years. Last year was the 50th anniversary and it was a huge display that lasted more than 45 minutes of grand finale style explosions.
