A rare opportunity to take a photo of one of my classical music heroes, rehearsing before a concert in 2012. This was an adrenaline rush for me as not only did I get asked personally if I would like to shoot some photos of him after he had a rigorous session with the orchestra, but he played an except from of my favourite pieces of Elgar Cello Comcerto. I used a standard 18-55mm lens for this emotive shot taken whilst I was trying to contain the adrenaline pumping through my veins whilst taking it! Sadly Julian can no longer play professionally due to illness.
