3 Experimental Ideas
These experimental techniques can encourage you to think outside traditional boundaries and explore new dimensions of visual storytelling.
Light Painting and Long Exposures: Play with long exposure settings to capture trails of light. Use flashlights, glow sticks, or stars, and move the light source during exposure to create abstract patterns or shapes.
Double Exposure and Image Blending: Combine two different images into a single frame, either in-camera or through editing software. Blend images of people with textures or landscapes to create dreamlike visuals.
Projection Photography: Project images, patterns, or text onto subjects or backgrounds. Alter focus, angle, or content to create multi-layered photographs that play with perception and reality.
