Located in Donceel, Belgium; in the enclosure of a cemetary, and dominating the village, the church Saint-Cyr & Sainte-Julitte is a building of roman origin(XIIIth and XIV century)in rubble of sandstone, limestone & flint. Located of a former small chapel, the church belonged to the Abbey of St-Jacques since 1088. It was destroyed in 1213 by the Troops of the Duke of Brabant, with the exception of the Romanesque tower and part of the nave. The choir & nave were rebuilt in brick in 1742.
