This is a picture of my mother who passed away April 4th, 2016. I think this horse was as much of her child as I am. This horse was rescued from some very cruel people who left it in the barn with no food, no water, and beat it half to death. We took him in and gave him tender loving care for a couple months then we got that devastating call from the vet letting us know how sick he was and he probably wouldn't make it much longer. He died 3 days later. I know my mom is in heaven with him having the most peaceful ride ever.
