This was shot right as a a storm was coming over the Air Force Academy's Chapel. The clouds just broke to allow the sun to shine through some of the clouds, thus the white spot. No Photoshop was used. I hope you like it.

Thank you! Yeah the storm created a really cool "cloudscape". The "haunting" effect comes from a small amount of vignetting around the edges of the photo, that plus the brightness of the chapel allows the photo to really pop.

I was stationed at the Academy in the 80's. Man I'm getting old. Beautiful capture of a very intriguing building.

Been there many times , Used to live at the AFA , Dad was a colonel and taught there in the 70's ! Nice photo and a good reminder !
