The depth of field here is wonderful. And the two logs form a great almost-triangle with the porcupine, which tricks the eye into thinking that the porcupine is in a third of the frame, when he's actually centered. I love the texture here too.

Love this photo! I've got a couple of porcupine pictures, myself. I've only ever seen one in the wild. This one almost looks like it saying a little prayer. Great job!
