Blown out sky and dark ground, or one exposed well and the other not.The bane of all landscape photographers! (Unless you are after a silhouette effect) The answer is a Graduated ND (Neutral Density) filter. One half is clear and the other half is darker. It spins, so you can lighten your ground and darken the sky giving the clouds a bit more definition.
