This Osprey caught the fish and fought with it down the river, it stopped on the rock across the river from where we were. He had a hard time getting the fish on the rock, in this shot it's still partially in the water because it was too large for the Osprey to lift onto the rock, and was fighting back. By then his wings were wet and the trout was too heavy to lift. He stayed for a bit flapping his wings trying to take off, but ended up eating the head of the fish before he could fly away. It was an amazing sight.
