I put up a Hummingbird feeder outside my door last week, after taking pictures of hummingbirds at my neighbor's feeder. I set up my camera and waited. I use a remote control trigger. The little lady, an Anna's Hummingbird flew right in front of me! She checked out my red tripod and flew to the feeder. She sat there and drank a lot! I even recorded her sitting on and hovering over for an amazing 24 seconds! One of my captures got her perfectly still. Not a wing moving. Her tiny feet holding on.
