A magpie-lark that frequents my back yard. Known locally as a Murray magpie I call this one Murray. He is male - black throat and white line over the eye - so I can get away with it. Females have a white throat and don't have the line over the eye.

This has been known to me as a Pee-Wee and I have one which regularly sits on my car mirror and pecks its' image, plus leaves messy 'messages' on it! Still, it does sing for me! Nicely captured! :))

Thanks. I know these birds have different local names depending on which State you live in. They are very territorial and I have seen the same behaviour (on my neighbours car thank goodness).
