Looking for a sun flare, I found a halo instead

After a storm, raindrops glisten on a patch of Allium, backlit by the setting sun.

In 2013 while on tour in Havana with a friend, this little fellow saw us taking photos and ran up to pose for our cameras.

Fortunate to have the opportunity to get up close and personal with this beautiful orchid

The grace of a grapevine against the deepening colours of the evening sky

A patch of wild mushrooms emerged in a neighbouring lawn and flower bed. The underside of the mushroom cap is a myriad of tiny tunnels.

On tour in 2013, I noticed this fashionable Cuban vendor watching the street action from the shade. Amazing nails!
