Boudoir imagery is one area where I lack a lot of experience. Well, at least in the traditional sense. While my forté remains in landscapes, wildlife, and outdoor portraits, my lack of judgement and often dark shooting style has allowed me to step into the open arms of the local fetish community. So, when a friend offered me the opportunity to join her on a high-key boudoir shoot with model Ruby Slipper, I jumped at the chance. Wanting to achieve a good balance of light in a small, white studio room, I opted to go with a single 22" beauty dish as key and let the spillover bouncing from all the walls act as a soft fill. I couldn't have been more pleased with that choice, and this shot was one of my favorites of the day.
