Watched the full moon rising over the ridge only to see it was riding the edge of the hillside instead of rising straight up. We watched our version of a light show as the trees cast ever changing shadows upon our rising moon. We were mesmerized until it was fully up. Luckily it was in view from our patio and I was able to get a succession of shots the following night.
