Shot while a strong Chinook wind was blowing the snow around, although it looks cold, except for the wind chill factor, it was about 2 degrees Celsius. Bone Yard road is part of the extensive series of buffalo jump sites here in the porcupine hills of southern Alberta. Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump world heritage site is about 30 Km due south, this view is facing south. Bone yard road is at the bottom of the valley.
