Being a farmer is hard work. Being a farmer in Northern Wisconsin during the winter can be even harder. Our cows drink naturally from creeks and streams. With the cold temps and pile of snow we just got, sometimes we need to chop through the ice to keep the water open for the cows. (When I say "we," I mean Adam ????) He's the hardest worker I know. I wanted to show a picture I took yesterday of him making sure the cattle have access to water.
