I had a photo assignment to do a surreal image. A new roommate was moving in and he took over my living room. McGee was a rescue from a Texas Kill shelter that was bought up to MN for me by all the wonderful truck drivers who volunteer with On the Road again. My roommate bought his dog bed in for his dog Fletcher. Fletcher was a pampered dog with tons of dog toys and accessories. McGee saw the bed and instantly claimed it. I thought this is what it would look like if a pamperd dog was moving into my house with all his belongings. While McGee only came with a ziplock bag of food, A small bowl , a blue stuff octopus and a blankie he was in a used blue kennel all given to him by his foster mom. So My first thought was to make it all look surreal but then I started to like the dimension it showed by keeping McGee real. People seem to like. McGee has been with me since July 2015 if we ever had to move now his pile of stuff would be twice as large as this one including three different dog beds like I said the boy likes his comforts. So here's to pampering and honoring our rescues! This image is called "Moving Day"
