This is ice that has quickly frozen creating these amazing lines. The texture and patterns are striking and I like how stark they are in black and white. The are three layers here, each is from a freeze at a different time of the tides creating layers with about 6 inches apart. These layers were falling all around when I quickly snapped this image.
