100th Birthday boy

My stepdad Les, yesterday was filled with so many people wishing Les a Happy Birthday in fact over 200 at the last count , I got onto FB which has a sight for our town ,I took a pic of Les first thing yesterday morning telling people that it was his special Birthday . Seeing as Les was a woodwork teacher , so many forma pupils wrote on that page recalling memories of him . I even had the whole of his street walking down the road to sing happy birthday to him straight after the normal clapping for the NHS. With social distancing taking place we didnt think that his birthday party could go on , but it did , but in a different way,.family barbecue , and surprise guests that arrived for a drink of bubbly. followed by a professional photographer , street sing a long and finally a private family only cutting of the cake. This time I didnt get the chance to take many pics as I would of liked because of hosting guest mainly drinking myself lol.But he did get his Royal Birthday card from the Queen which made it so special for him .
