In October 2019, Rubjerg Knude lighthouse was moved 80m inland on special built rails, allowing the lighthouse another 40 years of safety. When it was first constructed in 1899, Rubjerg Knude lighthouse was 200m from the shore. Before its move, it was only 6m from the shore. This was my first visit to the old lighthouse after it was moved.
