Chasing the last moments of sunlight made me climb up a large rocky outcrop in Joshua Tree National Park. I knew I wanted to photograph the sun setting, but I also knew I needed to get as high up as I could to make the shot work. About 1 minute after this the sun had gone behind the mountains and I'd lost the shot forever.
