Built in the late 1800's, this was once an active maritime lighthouse. It was just 400 feet from the high tide line. It now finds itself inland approximately 3,000 feet. This was due to jetties being built and a sand build up that occurred between the lighthouse and the water. It is located in Westport in the State of Washington.
