Several days after the passing of her "sister" and best buddy, we took Tita to an area just north of Albuquerque known as the Rio Rancho Badlands in an effort to cheer her up. While she did seem to enjoy herself, the months that followed were very stressful for her as she struggled to deal with her loss and her new status as being an "only dog."

She is pretty healthy and active . . . though not nearly as active as she used to be. This pic was taken about 2 years ago, and she has aged a lot since then.

Since Tita is a rescue dog, we have no real idea as to her age, but I'm guessing that now she must be 10-11 years old. But this photo was taken nearly 2 years ago.
