It was the end of the day and I was packing up from taking pictures of a variety of songbirds and when I turned around I saw this Great Blue Heron sitting on the branch silhouetted with the sun setting behind so I rushed to get set up again just in case he decided to fly away and I started shooting and this is one of the greats to end the day.
