Took a day trip drive from the northern terminus of the Natchez Trace Parkway heading south for approximately 40 miles and took several photos of the beautiful scenery. This wooded area with flowing water was next to a hiking trail just off the parkway. I thought the reddish pink hue of the tree in the foreground and the leaves on the ground contrasted nicely with the water and the green mossy areas.
