The eastern blue lily, or Siberian blue lily (Scilla siberica), is a perennial, insect-pollinated bulbous plant in the family Asparagaceae, previously classified intermittently as a family of Liliaceae or Hyacinthaceae [1]. It is a small blue-flowered plant that blooms in early spring and spreads easily to extensive worms in parks and gardens. The plant is native to Asia but has been spread to Europe and North America.
