I spent the several hours driving around Algonquin Park looking for bears and didn't manage to see anything. My luck changed when I was driving home, about half way back this beautiful buck casually walked onto the road about 100 yards from me. So I stopped and just watched as he began rubbing this antlers and face against a small tree that was leaning over the road. Then after a minute he just stopped what he was doing turned and looked at me then just slowly walked into the bush. I wanted to get a good picture of him so I drove up to see if I could see him standing in the bush. Just as I stopped to take his picture I noticed a hawk was sitting in a big poplar tree above him and a bunch of ducks took off out off the ditch all at the same time. I somehow managed to get really good pictures of all of them and just as fast as they appeared everything was gone into the bush and all was quiet again.
