Since the lock down started, I have spent most of my days working on my porch. Doing so, I rapidly understood that I would need my camera ready by my side at all times. It's striking how, unbeknownst to be, the wildlife had taken over my porch and made it it's habitat. I am just a guest amongst them. This male Green Anole here is demonstrating it. He is displaying his gorgeous red throat, cue to his rich diet and good immune function, to mark this territory his own and attract mates. I am an intruder on his land, and he's told me the most beautiful way.
