Capturing the northern lights has got to be one of my favorite things to do these days. I love everything about night time photography but when the northern lights are out I know I'm going to be out all night!! It is rare for the northern lights to be this bright in southwest Minnesota but this night they put on a grand show!!

On September 27th-28th, 2017 we witnessed the most spectacular showing of the northern lights that I have been witness to in the past 20 or 30 years.

Another one of the photos of the orange sun because of the fires and smoke out to the west of us.

Old red barn

A client of ours wanted a photo of the old barn on their family farm before it fell down or got torn down.

We were headed out to run errands and came upon this beauty feasting on road kill.
