This bridge has the second longest cable stay, (distance between towers) in the western hemisphere, of 1583 feet, or 482 meters.
It's total length is 12,883 feet, or 3,927 meters.
I like this bridge because of the colorful cables. Most just look like steel. I do not know if this coating serves a purpose, such as protection from corrosion, but it adds a cheerful aspect to this very long bridge.
