While camping, I received an emergency alert: severe thunderstorm, 60mph winds, possible tornado, hail, for your safety, find interior room....

While camping in a tent, this is not possible. My husband and I drove closer to a possible shelter in case things got super bad, super quickly.

I got this shot as we watched the sky turn from sunset to a stormy landscape. It was beautiful to watch in a wide open space(from a sheltered awning, that is).
