Shiretoko is a National Park and UNESCO World Heritage site well know for its gorgeous nature and plentiful wildlife but I it has always been a summer or winter tourist destination. This it why it took me 3 years to go up and visit it in autumn. No one talks about autumn in Shiretoko and I've never seen images of it in autumn. I really wonder why because I was shocked at just how gorgeous autumn was here.
