The James J. Hill Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and located in historic downtown Saint Paul, across from Rice Park. Take a journey back in time to 1921 and get an inside look at Mr. Hill’s most significant gift to the city, hailed by modern critics as “a high point in Beaux Arts architecture in Minnesota!” Learn the stories, mysteries and intrigue behind the stone walls of the historic reference library and explore secret spots, glass catwalks and high-up spaces.
