Congratulations Grand Jury Winner "Gearhead" by bruceclement

"Not only is this a great macro image but there is a reflection in the dropplets. It would have been nice enough had the drops just been a solid color or clear, but the depth the reflection of the gears creates is outstanding." -Ā Matt Hernandez

Congratulations Amateur Winner "Just a drop - 2" by rosn123

"Again, there is more to this image than just amazing detail. I love the fact that the images is just before the drop hits the water. Splash photography can be really interesting and cool, but this is the moment just before the splash. To me, this adds anticipation and tension to the image, which in turns make the viewer feel more emotion. Very nicely done." -Ā Matt Hernandez

Congratulations People's Choice "ClockMaker at Work" by marc-photographie

"There were a lot of great photographs in this contest but this one stood out. Since the name of the contest was ā€œDevil Is In The Detailā€ macro photography is very appropriate. I loved all of the finalists but this one took it to the next level. Not only did the creator great a great close up with amazing detail, but they added a second element to accent the detail of the clock (the person working on it). This is not just a cool close up macro shot with detailā€¦ There is a story there, and that story is up to the viewer to create in their own mind. Great job!" -Ā Matt Hernandez
