Behind The Lens

Location

Summer time in Georgia , not in a state in US , but the country.

Time

Early morning light strikes authentic wood balcony in boutique hotel and creates that shadows ,which is beautifully falling on the models face

Lighting

On this image I have focused on shadow painting effect. Hard light create unusual effect

Equipment

I am not using something specific, classic zoom lens, 28-75 F2.8 and Sony A7IV or A7III . Does it matter if you are shooting with natural light?

Inspiration

Hard shadows on balcony inspired me to get my model out of a room

Editing

Nothing much for retouch on this image. Lightroom post processing and slightly touch in Photoshop

In my camera bag

The best camera you could have is the one which is with you at the moment when you have to make a shot. Gear does matter of your shooting is planned. Sometimes you create a magic even with smartphone

Feedback

Look around you. Sometimes leaves or objects can create artificial shadow. Get your model, pose her properly and get your superb shot. Good luck guys!
