Cymbidium Cleo Sherman 'Dawn Crest' with rather large full white flowers on a very small plant, still in a 4'' pot with room to spare. This flower is so round and full it almost looks like a new breed moth orchid.
I'll definitely repot this year just to refresh the potting medium but keep it in the same size pot.
With a Red Wing Town and Country dinner plate designed by Eva Zeisel in chartreuse. Square format, processed with Picasa and Photoshop Elements.

When an orchid hybrid is named, the first name is the name of the cross, all of its siblings will bear that name, and the second name is a clonal name given to this particular plant as each of its brothers and sisters will be slightly and in some cases majorly different. This is useful in further breeding and giving awards. If a plant is mericloned, all the siblings will be of the same plant tissue and therefore will be the same, so will bear the same second name.
