The cave is really what inspired me, the challenge of getting all the detail inside and out, along with the rocks under the water. All was just set perfectly facing the sunrise. I had to set up on ice covered rock get my composition set up and just sat there waiting for the sun. Then BAM the sun popped up and OMG I was so excited looking through the viewfinder the soft colors. It was one of the moments when you know the shot is going to be amazing! Then shot shot shot..... double check the horizon zoom in and out and shot some more. I was so moved by the moment and the challenge. I considered it a gift from God which I was so grateful to be prepared, to receive.Editing
Very little but yes I used Bridge adjusted exposure inside the cave a bit and remove some lens dust spots then to Photo shop to save as a JPEG.In my camera bag
Now I shoot with a Cannon 70D, Canon ES71 II 50mm, Cannon 75-300mm, Tamron 18-200mm, Tamron 10-24mmFeedback
Working around the Lake be safe and sure of your footing the ice covered rocks are very tricky. Tripod is a must! Early Morning is the only time this magic happens!
