Mekong Delta is not only famous for its fruit-laden fruit orchards but also famous for the "red kingdom" - a  brick -making village. Bricks are fired with rice husks with a very careful inspection and fire watch process. To make sure the bricks are 'ripe' just right, each kiln holds about 15,000 bricks, which are baked for 20 days to produce the finished product. After firing, the finished products are standard au red bricks. During the firing time, brick makers must watch the fire continuously to ensure the quality of bricks.
