"Whatever you do, always straighten the water surface!"
Horizons, especially waters, are horizontal. The rest... not always. :)
Funnywise, many people are still oblivious to that basic fact, and go on posting up uncorrected photos. I used to warn folks about it, suggesting that horizons and waters are, well, horizontal and why it is important to straighten such images... but I gave up. Learning is for those willing to learn.
Too many people posting photos are not interested in learning, or are simply too lazy to think. Combine that with others doling out Likes to just about anything, and there we are...
Not to forget people which won't (or can't) understand what makes a Portrait different from full-figure, ignore the world of difference between Black-and-White, partial color and Monochrome... thus unable to understand the Contest and Challenge requiremens and themes...
One could go on ranting for hours with zero effect.
To those, "me-too" is more important than the fact that wrongly chosen competition image can not win (and probably will be deleted shortly after being submitted).
Never mind. Can't force comprehension. :)
