Against my advice, they cut down all flowers along the road where we live. But, at the postbox, there were left a group of dandelions in different shape, so I used this as a protest against the vandals.Time
I was collecting the mail, so it must have been around, or a bit after, the mail arrived, i.e. early afternoon.Lighting
It was generally sun in the area, but this little spot below the postbox was in the shadows.Equipment
My Canon 6D Mark II and a Canon 100mm Macro was used, No tripod or other photograpic equipment. I had collected the mail, omongst a few newspapers, so I used a Newspaper to direct some mor diffused light against the flowers. I was sittin down on my knees, supporting the camera with my body, using the LCD monitor to control the picture. Took about twenty pictures.Inspiration
I was inspired by the people who cut down the flowers along the road - they could not stop me from taking a picture!!Editing
Som cropping to form the picture, at the photo spot I had enough to collect the possabilities. In my camera bag
I normally carry only the camera/lens I had selected for that trip, some lens cleaning equipment, and the tripod if I think it is neseccary (I usually carry a tripod and a monopod in the car).Feedback
Check your postbox regular, keep an eye upon people who love cutting roadsides!
