The Vuylcop residential tower was built in the 14th century. Presumably around the year 1300, but there is no certainty about this. The foundations could even date from the 13th century.
The rectangular tower consists of an above-ground cellar, with two floors and an attic under a gable roof. There is a moat around the tower. The walls are below 120 centimeters thick and built with monastery mops. Upstairs, the walls are 70 centimeters thick.
Over the centuries, the residential tower changed its appearance and became a castle. Towers and an access bridge over the moat appeared.
