Her bell-shaped flowers that are usually blue, sometimes white or pink can turn the entire forest floor blue.
Research has shown that the populations of bluebells in the Netherlands are actually crosses of the wild and the Spanish hyacinth. That is why the bluebell has recently been called bastard hyacinth.

There is a bluebell flower that grows wild and crazy in the fields of Texas. On the right days in spring the ground is covered with them :) I wonder if it's the same flower?
