Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken at my home in Yerevan.

Time

I captured the photo early in the morning when going to work...I noticed my cat sleeping on the chair, it's usually very lazy and likes to sleep, and I have decided to use the moment to capture the light and shadow and interesting pose.

Lighting

The lighting on the cat was interesting and unique...and it was sleeping on an old chair which I wanted to get rid of for a long time...and I decided to take a picture of the cat sleeping exactly on this old chairT, which I think was ideal from photography point of view.

Equipment

This was taken on a Canon 60D whit an old lsoviet times lens.

Inspiration

I lent the lens for a short period, and I wanted to capture something really worthy to feel the advantages and functionality of that lens.

Editing

I am confident that there is no photography without post processing, because photographing is only the half of the process .... and to be able to completely present your thoughts and feelings to the audience one should take all the information from the photo

In my camera bag

Canon EOS 6D, Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM, Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM, Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III and CANON EF 180 mm f/3.5L Macro USM

Feedback

Always work hard, learn to notice details and everything surrounding, one should look at everything through photographers' eyes and trust intuition.
