On the way back from East Iceland, I made a stop at Jökulsárlón – I had neglected it a lot the days before, because I don’t think you can take any reasonable pictures there when it’s windy. When I arrived, I was amazed to find that the whole lagoon was empty - not a trace of an iceberg. Didn't bother me too much as it was still quite windy. To my great luck, I discovered a number of snow buntings, which I was then able to keep busy for quite a while
