Location
I took this photo during the sunset on one of the beaches in my city which is in the northeast of Brazil.Time
It was sunset and my girlfriend and I had already walked a long time on the beach, during that time all we did was just enjoy the scenery. Until I thought about taking some pictures where I could show a little more than just poses, so around 5:45pm we were dancing and shooting on the beach at sunset.Lighting
All the lighting in the photo is natural, with only the light of the sunset. The main reason I like to shoot this time is the soft light with shades ranging from yellow, passing through soft orange and reaching a slightly reddish hue. During the sunset period, you have so many wonderful tones and intensities to work with and apply.Equipment
For this photo I used a Canon 60D, with a 50mm f / 2.8 lens and no other equipment.Inspiration
My inspiration for this photo came from some magazine profiles on instagram, the idea of ??having a photo that doesn't just represent pretty poses appeals to me a lot. I love playing with the moment and the place I photograph, that day I was inspired by an essay I saw on Instagram that represented freedom of expression, so I thought about creating something my way.Editing
Post processing was done by Lightroom desktop, I didn't have much work on colorization, rate everything by my ipad as second screen while editing by lightroom. Most of the editing was just on lighting fixes. In my camera bag
Usually I always have my Canon 50mm 1.8 lens and my Canon 60D lens, sometimes I use a battery grip and in other cases I take my 18-50mm 2.8 Sigma. I like the tones it emits and the low rate of chromatic aberration, plus everything I take with my headphones, a speaker and a card machine for specific jobs.Feedback
For those who would like to have results like this or similar, I always advise shooting during sunrise and sunset, for some places the time zone is different but for me it applies from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm. Always try to use the light at your disposal to draw your object to be photographed, play a little with the movements and do it differently, innovating is important and, above all, having fun. Photography is an art, spread it around the world.
