Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken on the road to Ciucas Mountains from Brasov city. The place is called Cheia it is located in the middle of Transylvania

Time

I am not sure now exactly what time was taken but it was around early afternoon. Thankfully the weather was slightly cloudy so I didn't had harsh sunlight but it was bright enought to take a topdown droneshot.

Lighting

I wanted to shoot in daylight because when you are doing top-down drone shots you can lose a ton of light very fast.

Equipment

I used Mavic 2 Pro and 64 ND from polarpro.

Inspiration

This shot was on my bucket list for a long time. I like landscape photography and I am always seeking interesting destinations. When you look at a map and you see curvy roads like this you know that, it is going to be an awesome place to shoot.

Editing

I always shoot in raw no matter if it's my camera or my drone, so i had to post process it in Photoshop.

In my camera bag

My drone is living in my bag alongside with my A7 III and my fav lens Laowa 12 mm f2.8

Feedback

Well planning is a key, this place is 3 hours far from my home so I had to check the weather, how strong the wind is going to be to allow me to fly and etc. . Than have a good coffee pay attention on the road and go from A to B :)
